In Santa Cruz...

Well, the blogging hasn't been to prolific yet - but here is an update: I'm in Santa Cruz CA working with Margaret FitzSimmons and Jeff Bury on two chapters of my thesis. Contrary to Mariana saying that I point my finger in the air, wave it around and then land it on a map to choose where to go, I actually take into consideration availability of skiing, surfing, and other things before I choose. ;)

Santa Cruz is a great place - surf is fun, mountains are fantastic, lots of biking, campus is beautiful with Redwoods everywhere. Getting reasonable amount of work done which is good, and Miss. Auffray should be here soon which is also amazing.
